FROM SAINT MALO TO AMSTERDAM
The creators of « Vent de Voyage » were chosen with 4 other brands to represent French design at the « Tassen Museum » (Museum of Bags and purses) in Amsterdam.
The museum, which owns the biggest collection of bags in the world, has chosen Vent de Voyage to represent french expertise in an exhibition called « Vive la France ».
The Saint Malo's workshop, established since 2000, charmed by its story, its quality of work and its contemporary design made with recycled sailclothes.
The brand is constantly renewing combining creativity, innovation, boldness, modernity and femininity. This year, they launched a new collection of bags mixing technical sailcloth, leather and strap.
7 models were selected by the Tassen museum. They have been shown in a sale exhibition from March to June.
« We are proud of the museum choice, as it represents for us a true recognition of our work, which aims beyond fashion and marketing. There is also the pleasure of beautiful craft shared with our team » comments Christine DEFRETIN, who founded the concept of the workshop with her husband Yann LE NABOUR.
